About This Design
This Dachshund print is from a series of German postcards originally published in the late ‘s. Dog paintings classified as vintage, retro or nostalgia represent fragments of a lost past and show us how different many of these dogs appear when compared to current examples of their breeds. Over the years, I have become a collector of dog prints and treasure every one for different reasons and it is this passion for dog art that has inspired my vintage dog products. Dachshunds are one of the most popular breeds in the United States. They are adorable, loving, smart and the perfect size for sitting on laps. So many people own pairs or even three Doxies.
