About This Design

For more like this, visit About this design: Clownfish (or Clown Fish) are orange, red, white, and black tropical fish native to warmer waters of the Indian and Pacific oceans, including the Great Barrier Reef and the Red Sea. Clownfish live at the bottom of shallow seas in sheltered reefs or in shallow lagoons. There are no clownfish in the Atlantic. Clownfish and sea anemones have a well known symbiotic, mutualistic relationship; each providing a number of benefits to the other. Clownfish were the first type of marine ornamental fish to be successfully bred in captivity on a large scale, and thus provide a popular choice for tropical fish enthusiasts and are often a staple, along with their anemone partners, in tropical fish tanks and aquariums. Clownfish and certain damselfish are the only species of fishes that can avoid the potent poison of a sea anemone.
