About This Design
We were walking in the Old Town in Vilnius, Lithuania and had lost our bearings. Before I could check a map, I noticed a small “Welcome” sign on the plain wooden door of a large building. There was no window to see in, so my curiosity won out. I slowly turned the doorknob and we found ourselves in the exquisite Reading Room of the Rare Manuscript Department of the Vilnius University Library (also available in products). Cordial staff members greeted us. I shared that I was a former librarian and that my grandmother was Lithuanian. They immediately offered a personalized tour of the facility. This gorgeous stained glass window graced a stairwell.
