About This Design
The ancient home of the Scottish Maclean (also spelled MacLean / MacLain / MacLaine) Clan has been Duart Castle, on Scotland’s Isle of Mull, for the many generations of about years. Here Duart Castle guards the Sound of Mull off Scotland’s west coast. The text prints the castle and clan names. We suggest you may wish to use the spelling of your own branch of the family, or leave the usual Scottish Mac spelling. It’s your choice. You can also add a personal name across the mug or delete — again, your choice. The text is in a bold script font and a crisp sans serif, both in a dark, almost-black, brown to reflect the stones of the fortress that is Duart Castle, Argyll Scotland.
