About This Design
Prior to America’s entry into World War II, a group of American pilots fought the Japanese for the Chinese government using obsolete P- Warhawk fighter planes. These American volunteer pilots, officially called the “American Volunteer Group” (), were better known as the “Flying Tigers.” This was their logo.
