Living on just 4% of our public lands and meant to be protected under the Wild and Free Roaming Horses & Burro Act of , our wild horses & burros are rounded up and replaced with cattle, sheep, oil platforms, and mining operations nearly every day. If we don’t act to provide further protections to them, wild horses will disappear from our lands within years.
