About This Design
A quality ounce ceramic mug featuring both Siduri, the ancient Babylonian Goddess of wisdom, fermentation and merrymaking, and a photograph and translation of Siduri’s Advice from the Sippar Tablet; the first recorded advice from over years ago! Please note that we feature the extremely popular Jacobsen English translation of Siduri’s Advice: “Fill your belly. Day and night make merry. Let days be full of joy, dance and make music day and night. And wear fresh clothes. And wash your head and bathe. Look at the child that is holding your hand, and let your wife delight in your embrace. These things alone are the concern of men.”
