About This Design
This paleontology stein features the logo for the regrettably fictional Burgess Shale Pale Ale. This green beer logo features a cartoon silhouette of a Marella fossil (one of the odd creatures of the Cambrian Burgess Shale fauna), above the words Burgess Shale Pale Ale. The design also features a few stalks of barley, the phrase “Estd. Ma,” referring to the million year age of the Burgess Shale, and the selling phrase “Exceptional Preservation,” referring to the fantastic soft-bodied fossils found in the shale.
