About This Design
Three Russian alphabet pictures (Frontispiece, Moor and Baba-Yaga) from a landmark turn-of-the-twentieth-century children’s/art book by Alexander Benois. Set I contains the illustrations evoked in the composer Nikolai Tcherepnin’s piano collection “Fourteen Sketches from the Russian Alphabet.”
