About This Design

Dolores Cannon ( ) was an American hypnotist and self-published author of non-fiction books, composed mainly of transcripts from her clients’ past-life regression sessions. She spent her first years as a military wife & the next as a hypnotist and author. Cannon was born on April , in St. Louis, Missouri. She was married to Naval Officer Johnny Cannon. Her husband took a class in hypnosis, but never got a chance to practice, because he deployed for the Vietnam War. During this time, Cannon read: The Search for Bridey Murphy by Morey Bernstein; The Enigma of Reincarnation by Brad Steiger; and The Search for the Girl with the Blue Eyes by Jess Stearn. A physician asked the Cannons to use hypnosis to help a female patient manage stress-related health problems. Under hypnotic trance, the subject described her past lives and predicted future events. In Dolores founded her own publishing company, Ozark Mountain Publishing. Her first book, Five Lives Remembered, was written in , but remained unpublished until . Cannon’s first published book series was Conversations with Nostradamus (), which attracted some publicity from the media. She started teaching her own patented Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy (QHHT) technique in . Dolores started her own talk radio show, The Metaphysica Hour in . She has appeared as a guest on Coast to Coast AM and the Shirley MacLaine show. This mug is a salute to her works, taking up where Edgar Cayce’s years of pioneering work under self-hypnotic trance, was continued for years, by assisting many others, by being placed under hypnotherapy themselves.
