About This Design
Saint Lawrence was an early Church martyr. He was ordered by the Romans to collect the riches of the Church to give to the government. Instead, St. Lawrence brought the poor, crippled, and sick saying that these were the riches of the Church. He was burned to death and during the torture he is said to have told his executioners to “turn me over, this side is done.” Because of this, St. Lawrence is the Patron of Cooks. This is a great gift for yourself, a friend, or a family member.
