About This Design
My illustration of the blue and yellow Porter’s Chromodorid is based on photographs I took of this sea slug in the tidepools of La Jolla, California. This Slug Mug makes a great gift for the scuba diver, tidepool lover, or sea slug enthusiast in your life! Nudibranchs, or sea slugs, are shell-less relatives of land snails. They’re found in all oceans of the world, and come in a vast array of different forms and colors. The Porter’s Chromodorid (Felimare porterae, formerly Mexichromis porterae) is one of the most colorful nudibranchs found along the coast of southern California.
