Lockwood Castle Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlor W Devon Avenue, Chicago, IL. Lockwood Castle was known for the “Giant Killer” a scoop sundae topped with Hot Fudge, Strawberry, Marshmallow, Caramel, tons of cherries, and sparklers in a 9″x” glass bowl on a pedestal usually ordered for birthdays or groups. The menu stated it served people, but parties of 8 or more would order it for their desert after dinner. If you were able to eat it in one sitting, you were given a free one next time you visited.
