About This Design
A photographic image of two P- can openers with a US quarter for scale. Also on the mug is the description, “The P- can opener – best designed and most reliable, dependable, and appreciated piece of hardware provided by the military”. This description was done in jest but is the opinion held by many who survived on c-rations for a significant percentage of their meals. I still carry the one that served me well through Vietnam. It is on my key chain and is still reliable after more than forty years of use.
