About This Design

It requires art for members of the Scottish Keith Clan to “visit” their ancient home: Caskieben Castle or Keith Hall. Thanks to modern technology, YOU can quietly savor your heritage and fresh cuppa at the same time. Only a mound and a moat remain where Caskieben/Keith Hall once stood near Inverurie, Scotland. It began as a palisaded tower built in the th century by the Garviach family during the Norman expansion into Scotland. The tower was expanded in the th century into a stone castle known as Caskieben, but renamed Keith Hall. This public domain photo is of a colorized postcard dated June , . The Keith clan is fortunate to have other associated castles/homes: Keith Marischal House, Dunnottar Castle, and Fetteresso Castle.
