About This Design
This is an inspirational monogram mug, with the wording WHEN THE ROOTS ARE DEEP THERE IS NO REASON TO FEAR THE WIND, which is an old African Proverb. The design shows a half black tree silhouette against a plain cream background, and black sans serif typography on the side. Underneath is an extract from Psalm :5, which reads PUT YOUR HOPE IN GOD. The design is reversed on the back. In between there is a large customizable MONOGRAM. The words AFRICAN PROVERB and the Scripture verse are CUSTOMIZABLE, so you can add your name or create your own replacement text. This inspirational quote reminds me of the Christian Scriptures from Psalm 1:3 and Jeremiah :8 which both speak about trees being planted by water. When our roots are deeply planted in God, we are more able to withstand the storms that rise up in our lives.
