For my personality, and being right handed, I can picture sipping my coffee in meetings I hated and looking at the flying pig with a private grin … or like a brat, tilting the mug to show others around me in response to what was being said. Bad Sharon. Even though I had total parental support, my classes had min. per student and parental demands, I led my students I adored to win the top art awards for so many years (and runner up to our own) the record can never be broken (and I taught later in life), I stood firm on my convictions … and Daddy said at times the district would pop the champagne if I ever quit …. : ) As a NBPTS Art Teacher with my Masters Plus , and a corporate prof. art background, my salary was good; yet, I was there strictly for the kids.
