About This Design
A marvelous image by William Blake (), inspired by a comet he witnessed in . The print was found in the artist’s estate from where lots of my stuff comes from. Her copy was on very old rag paper and seemed to be hand-painted. Maybe a rendering of an early th century tourist souvenir? An art student’s copy? The real thing?? (KaCHING) Looks equally marvelous on all kinds of EVERYTHING, including mugs. Note that the print appears on both sides of the mug, in mirror image.
