About This Design
Chien-Shiung Wu is one of the most influential physicist of the th Century. The quote on this mug is from an MIT symposium in October about inequality she faced as a female scientist. Despite all she faced, she was the first woman hired as faculty in the Physics Department at Princeton. She continued the rest of her life to advocate for human rights and promote the teaching of STEM subjects to everyone regardless of gender. This mug will be a great gift for science student, especially for the female scientist to remind her that she can do great things in any STEM field. My interest in female scientist came about as a mom looking for role models for my daughter that loves science. Showing her that a girl can be in a field that in the past has not been considered for her gender.
